Russia
Russia is bordered to Arctic and Pacific oceans in north and east, as it stretches over a vast expanse of eastern Europe and northern Asia. It occupies the territory west of Ural mountains; Siberia stretching from Urals almost to Pacific coast and Russian far east. Known as USSR, it comprises much of northern Eurasia, and is the world’s largest country by landmass, with diverse vegetation tundra, taiga, mixed broadleaf forests, grassland and semi-desert. Blessed with tremendous natural treasures such as majestic snow-capped mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, seas, sun-kissed beaches, forests, flora/fauna, golden sands, deserts, icy tundra, volcanoes, northern lights and much more, it never fails to boggle your mind.
