Itinerary Details

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1400m)

We receive and welcome you at Tribhuvan international airport in Kathmandu, showing our signboard outside the airport terminal. You are then transferred to the respective accommodation for a wonderful stay.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley

After breakfast, sightseeing experience starts with city tours and some heritage sites.

Day 03: Drive to Syabru besi (1450m)-7 hr

Early morning, we drive from Kathmandu to Syabru besi through scenic foothills and ridgeline passing Dhunche with the picturesque glimpse of Ganesh himal, terraced hills and lush forests. 

Day 04: Trek to Lama hotel (2500m)-5 hr

The primary part of path goes through Bhote koshi river and follows Langtang khola. This trail steadily ascends up to Bamboo via rugged paths. Our trek climbs lightly to Rimche and gradually we reach Lama hotel.  

Day 05: Trek to Langtang village (3400m)-4 hr

In the morning, we move through langtang river along the forest eventually to langtang village, an old settlement, where we are rewarded with the outstanding views of langtang lirung as well as some other mountains. 

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3850m)-5 hr

We move through water mills, prayer wheels, chorten, with sacred rocks and inscription carving along with scenic route towards Kyanjin Gompa, a major monastery of the region. In the afternoon, we go on exploring buddhist shrine and the areas around. 

Day 07: Explore Tserko Ri (5000m) and back-7 hr

We go along yak pastures and head to Tserko Ri (5000m) for a sunrise view. Mid-day we return back to Kyanjin gompa again, explore around monastery, cheese factory and walk up the moraine to peer the tumbling glaciers of langtang lirung along with a breath taking landscape of peaks, icefalls, glaciers as well as yaks & birds.

Day 08: Trek to Ganja la phedi (4300m)-5 hr

We hit the trail crossing the langtang river and ascend via forests of rhododendron and other species. Path is covered by natural treasures and how it looks usually depends upon the season. The settlement is scanty in this area and we gradually reach Ganja la phedi for a stay. 

Day 09: Trek to Keldang (4250m) via Ganja la pass (5122m)-7 hr

Ganja la (5122m) is a strenuous pass as it is mostly covered with snow. We make a long ascent crossing the rocky moraine, ice and streams which at times might be quite tricky just because of slippery path that even require ice gears. Upon reaching pinnacle of Ganja la, one may enjoy a scenic vista around. We gradually descend towards Keldang for a stay.

Day 10: Trek to Dukpa (4000m)-6 hr

We start a walk to Yak kharka along the ridge and grassland amidst spectacular views of mountains. We pass through a breath taking scenery of natural treasures and gradually reach Dukpa for a stay. 

Day 11: Trek to Tarkegyang (2590m)-6 hr

Our path goes through a wonderful vista of Manaslu, Gaurishanker, Rolwaling as well as a ridge pass (4100m) gradually descending via jungles of pine and rhododendron into Tarkegyang, a herder’s settlement where we may even visit to a buddhist monastery.

Day 12: Trek to Shermathang (2600m)-5 hr

Trail gets quite easy and smooth along the forest and streams plus the superb views of Jugal himal and helambu region. We make a visit to nearby attractions including monasteries, serene valley and discover a distinctive lifestyle & culture in the village as we stay in Shermathang. 

Day 13: Trek to Melamchi pul bazaar (1500m)-4 hr

It descends all the way to Melamchi pul bazaar through meadows, fields and we come across old villages with distinctive culture and traditions along the spectacular mountain views. 

Day 14: Return to Kathmandu or proceed to another destination

You may opt for returning back to Kathmandu or proceeding to another destination.

Essential Information

Passport & visa
All foreigners beside Indians have to get a visa to enter Nepal. Unlike other countries, Nepali consulates and embassies issue visas without much fuss. On-arrival visas also are issued instantly at Tribhuvan international airport or at the border checkpoints. It may without difficulty be acquired at the Nepal/China border too. Lukla [Everest]
Please note the flights to and from Lukla rely on weather conditions. Awful weather might delay flights. While planes are grounded due to terrible climate, helicopter charter organizations operate mountain flights to Lukla. On your request, we even arrange a helicopter flight (to or from Lukla) for you. Whilst trekking in the mountains we stick to the standard itinerary. Weather 
The coldest month is January and the hottest is July. We say weather of Nepal is mild which means winter is dry and summer is hot. Monsoon lasts from around June to August. Phone/SIM/data plan

Electricity 
In Nepal the standard voltage is 220-230 V and the frequency is 50 HZ. Some teahouses along the trail use solar too.

Vaccinations
